Race 1 – 25 May

Our first Splash & Dash was a success. We had 11 people and by all accounts the water temperature wasn’t to bad. I look forward to seeing how their times improve when we do this course again in September for race #6.

Here are the results. If there are any errors please let me know.

Thanks again to all the volunteers.

Race 2 – 08 June

Our second Splash & Dash was at Long Lake, A new venue for the races. We had 11 people and by all accounts the water temperature was actually warm enough not to wear a wetsuit. The run course was nice and flat making for some good times.

Here are the results. If there are any errors please let me know.

Thanks again to all the volunteers.

Race 3 – 22 June

Our third Splash & Dash was a new event and we encountered a few issues. With a one way swim across the lake and at a 4km run back. I must apologize to the participants who had to wait at the transition for me to get there with their shoes and to Jason who went looking for me. Sorry about that. If we do it again next year I’ll send the shoes over before the race starts.

Here are the results. If there are any errors please let me know.

Thanks again to Patrick and Miranda for once again being out on the water as our safety vessels again.

Race 4 – 06 July

With a short notice change of venue this Splash & Dash was a success. We had 10 people out to swim the full 1600m course which was the longest distance some people have swam this year! The run was around the lake backwards to what people normally do, just to keep them on their toes!

Here are the results. If there are any errors please let me know.

Thanks again to all the volunteers.

Race 5 – 20 July

The Swim, Run, Swim, Run was once again a fun race. With only 250m to swim no one chose to wear a full wetsuit and the 3km run was relatively flat and fast. Next year though we will add the hill back in!

Here are the results. If there are any errors please let me know.

Thanks again to all the volunteers.
